For Anjouan there is no comparable public register, so verification is limited to the operator's own documents, and we say so.

What does 'Assessment in progress' mean on the Curaçao register?

It is the registry's own status label, which we report as written. Entries carrying it — including Stake's and Cloudbet's — show recorded expiry dates that have passed while remaining listed in the registry, the pattern of Curaçao's LOK transition in which operators licensed under the earlier OGL wave are assessed for full licences under the new regime. A large share of OGL-numbered entries carry the same status. It is not a revocation: neither entity appears in the enforcement register.

Open the CGA’s License register page and download the Online gaming licenses PDF — that is the regulator’s own document, updated with a date in its header.
Search it for the operating entity named in the casino’s terms (not the brand name — brands and entities differ, and entity changes are themselves informative, as BitStarz’s history shows).
Read the row: licence number, issue date, expiry, status. Cross-check the number against the casino’s footer seal via cert.cga.cw.
Check the Enforcement register PDF on the same page — that is where revocations, suspensions and non-extensions are recorded.
For Anjouan licensees there is no equivalent register — weigh the operator’s payout record more heavily instead, per our Anjouan guide.

A dead-domain warning while you do this: many sites (ours included, until 22 August 2026) still link the regulator’s old gcb.cw domain, which no longer resolves at all. The register lives at cga.cw; old certificate deep links do not validate on the new portal, so start from the register page itself.
