Licensing and trust

A Brazilian SPA licence means direct federal oversight and locally enforceable player protections — a meaningful step up from the offshore Curaçao model many rivals use. The flip side is that KTO is Brazil-only, so it is not an option elsewhere.

Two practical consequences. There is no withdrawing to someone else’s account — the own-name rule runs both ways, and it is what makes every Pix traceable to you. Account verification

When it moved to the regulated regime, KTO required existing customers to accept new terms, verify email and mobile, and verify identity through Face&ID (KTO’s regulatory update, 12 Mar 2025). Verification takes an RG, CNH or passport — front and back, all four corners visible — plus a selfie holding the document beside your face, no glasses or hat (account verification, 8 Mar 2025). Until it clears, the account is pending and cannot bet.

Limits and responsible gambling

Loss and session limits are mandatory under the regulation and must be set at sign-up, on reopening an account, after long inactivity and at the annual account update; new values take effect after 24 hours (setting limits, 2 Jun 2026). Self-exclusion is available on the site, through chat or by emailing [email protected], and blocks access to KTO and the group’s services (self-exclusion, 11 Mar 2025).
