Responsible gambling

Gambling can be addictive. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. Set deposit and time limits, and stop when it stops being fun.

Set limits before you play

Decide a loss limit and a time limit in advance, and treat them as fixed. Chasing losses is the single most common path to harm.

Most reputable casinos let you set deposit, loss and session limits, and offer a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. Use them.

Age and legality

You must be of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction (at least 18, 21 where required). Online casino play is illegal in some countries — including for residents of Japan. It is your responsibility to know and follow local law.
